Set Default Printer in VDI (Work-Around)

Synopsis

There are some known issues with the printing sub-system under App Volumes. App Volumes is one of the tools we use to deliver our VDI services. As a result users are not able to set their preferred default printer in the typical fashion. While we wait for VMware to correct this issue the following steps can be used as a work-around to get the default printer set.

Instructions

Quit all applications.

Launch Notepad++
