How to give someone permission to schedule Zoom meetings on your behalf

You are here:

  • How to give someone permission to schedule Zoom meetings on your behalf
< Back

If you want another person to be able to schedule Zoom meetings for you, so that you have the host role when you start the meeting, follow these steps.

Prerequisites: Both you and the person who will do the scheduling need full (not basic) Zoom licenses, and you both need Faculty Zoom accounts.

  1. log in at https://queensu.zoom.us
  2. choose Settings, then Other
  3. under Schedule Privilege enter the email address of the person you wish to have scheduling permissions.

Once this is completed, the person who has scheduling permissions uses their Zoom client as usual to schedule meetings. They will see an additional pop-up option indicating who they are booking the meeting for.
